A very nice feature of this webcam software is that it supports many different video sources. You can use IP network cameras, USB cameras, camcorders, TV tuners, Canon digital cameras, the Desktop, and hard drive folders. Another video source can be your Desktop. It is possible to broadcast your Desktop to remote viewers. You decide if you want to show the whole screen or just a part of your screen. Yet another video source could be a folder on your computer's hard drive. You can click the Delete files after usage option if you want Willing Webcam to erase the files in a folder after viewing. To view files in an endless cycle, click the Rewind box.Willing Webcam has many options to enhance video, such as captioning, image effects and watermarks.It is often helpful to caption a video with text and the time so that the viewer can tell where and when the video was recorded. Enable text and time by going under the Text Caption and Time Caption options. Both of these options have a text portion and a time portion. You can set the placement and the font used in the captions. There are many time formats to choose from. Go to the Willing Webcam web site and look under Frequently asked questions for more information about the different date and time formats that are available.Image effects include embossing, rotating, contrast, saturation and sharpening. The Alpha Blend feature allows you to create some interesting transparency effects. You can specify the amount of alpha blending and an image path. The pixel at the upper left corner of the image is taken as a transparent color. The image size must be the same as the preview size. For watermarks, use a picture in png format with the alpha channel. You can drag watermarks for precise placement on the video.
